Subject: Balancing the DW Economy
With the new price of Southgate Subby at 45M, it is said that it is a way to balance the game economy. Perhaps it will balance the paypal spending but for the economy, maybe for a while. The game is suffering from low new gamer retention simply because the game is not easy. Game resources, specifically gold, is not very easy to save to purchase in game assets like sapphire, helix, elements and special weapons.

A suggestion to balance the economy:

1). Have more ways to earn decent gold
2). Increase the income of the Slated hut without increasing the cost to build.
3.) Introduce other ways to find Helix aside from the subby.
4.) Give back the Helix in Loligo.
5.) Introduce an in-game way to find sapphire
6.) More activities like DW fair to siphon off excess gold in the system.

Plats is a bit balance perse. Having quite of it in the forests and the use for it in slated and outpost is pretty much balanced.

Sapphire, since its source is mainly from the ultras, it would be good to introduce a Loligo like way of finding sapphire, perhaps from Seafaring. Otherwise, have some auction for sapphires. like a lot sale of Sapphire. 100 sapphires for X amount of gold. That would keep it balanced every now and then. It will force the market to correct.

Helix, give back the ratio of helix pay out in the loligo.

Income sources, increase the pay out of the Trapping, Forest and Dark Forest. Another round of increase in Seafaring. Increase income in Lumbermill.

These are just a few suggestions to honestly balance the in-game economy. Oh and pray that more newbies come and stay. most newbies are gone after 30 days.
