The goal of Jousting is to make as many points as you can in the course, and you do this by making as many moves as you can (generally). The faster you move through the course, the fewer chances for points you'll get and the lower your score will be. However, the record scores are not achieved by keeping your speed at 1 m/s. Actually, there is a combo that can allow you to get more than 5 points per square, but to do this you'll need a speed around 2-7 m/s. When it comes to starting speed, lower is always better. So, for Masters Peak, the starting speeds closer to 20 are the best ones and the ones closer to 35 are the worst ones. I believe Mido states this in his Jousting guide, but I'm not sure. |
