 Subject: no it isn't true...
as a swordsman, wisdom is your least important attribute.
I'm a swordie, and I have the Unleash Hell and Pray skills from the Acolyte class, and I have Slow Mind from the Devious Ridge and Dire Hit from the Red Lobster, and I have 140 wisdom, and its enough to run all the skills I need.
