	Orbs are in different locations all over the game. Depending on your karma you get a different 'gamble' option when you collect all the orbs. Positive karma will give you a chance to double your max energy if you win, if you loose you'll loose half of your energy. Negative karma will do the same but with Health points. You can do this as many times you want, but for each try you gotta get all the orbs again.
