| As she trudged through the forest the tears began again. She unconsciously let out a wale that could be heard throughout the forest. She stopped short as she found an unusual flower and cent to examine at. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she reached out to touch it...She screamed in pain as she quickly jerked her hand back and looked at it...There was a small wound on her finger and a droplet of blood beading up on her finger tip. She flung around her nap sack and began looking for something to stop the stinging in her finger..."Darn it...I forgot that I would need bandages...Oh well, this will have to do." She took an older skirt she had packed and ripped a strip off the bottom. She then wrapped her finger tightly holding the pressure on the spot for a moment before removing the cloth to see the blood gone. "What was that plant?" she wondered as she readied to continue on her way. |
