| i lost a few million before i realized that buying and selling shares is not the only thing causing the volatility of share prices. If you look at KBI, you will notice that it often hits zero when in fact no purchases were made. I think this is done to keep the price of a market from becoming too influenced by the richer people in the game who could cause a sharp rise in stock prices by buying all the stocks of a company. I have also been told that the stock market is designed to make people lose money as there is too much money circulating the economy. |
