| since zombies typically do not have a will of their own, any emotions, rational thought, pain/pleasure or any of the other things that are used to define personhood, I do not think that they can be considered a person. Alternatively though, the dead do have rights in most countries... so this complicates things slightly, although you do not need personhood to have rights. The argument does hold for the others (werewolves being questionable depending on how feral they are) Interesting that they left mummies out altogether... i guess they are arguably zombies... although usually of a higher level of functionality then zombies. |
