6. Motion-detecting alarm system around my home -- not done 7. surveillance cameras covering every inch of my fort -- not done These two are kinda unrealistic. In a zombie apocalypse there is no one to run power plants and such... so sooner or later there is no power. You would need a generator of your own or some constant supply of power for either of these (and im guessing the big wall would have an electric gate as well?). The rest makes some sense, although I would rather a sword then a knife if it is light enough to be fast, but I would make one change. On top of all of this, the house should be a front to an underground bunker of some kind. First as a fall back point with reserve rations and weapons, etc. But also since with no one to run plants, all those reactors will overheat and there will sooner or later be a second apocalypse of the nuclear variety and a bomb shelter style, underground bunker is only a good idea in any compound as sophisticated as this one. Just my thoughts. |
