Subject: One thing that already exists
is that certain kinds of weapons get a 10% power boost depending on the class of the player using them. For example, a sword has more power in the hands of a swordsman, a dagger for a thief, and so on.

That said however, I do like your idea of including more such little boosts. Not sure necessarily how it would work with skills that are not class dependent like those from the devious ridge, GC Shop, or pop-up packages. Maybe your main idea can be tweaked a bit to take this into account, but it deff works with chamber of wisdom skills.

Note that level is already taken into account in a battle as it is part of the equation, along with luck and agility, to determine who attacks on the first turn of a battle. Based on that, not sure if it should also be included in damage calculation... Not sure if your demon's level is added to your own level for this calculation, but we know its agility for example are.
