Subject: What about using it as a welcoming clan? | |||||
| 1. Anyone who signs up for the game automatically gets thrown there for their first seven days. They will receive a welcome letter automatically welcoming them to the game and explaining the basics on how to get started and where to find the forums. 2. Have a very good forum with info for them explaining everything about the game and the uses of the buildings. All topics could be locked so they have to go to newbie chat to ask questions or mail helpers. This will get them used to reading mail, reading forums, asking questions, and becoming active in chats. 3. Clans can then see who is going to be active and try to make a go of the game. All new players would be active in one place and thus make it much easier for recruitment officers to see activity of player. 4. After 7 days they are booted and can either find their own clan or just fall into the inactive new players. 5. When they leave this clan the 7 day rule should not apply so that the ones who are active then have time to join a clan and get their GC and clans would still be able to earn medals from recruiting them. 6. This could be done without an active owner. Thus eliminating the abuse of the buildings by older players. |
