| 1. a mention that the list on the right side contains all helper online, and not necessarily present in chat. That way, newbies don't have the impression helpers are there and ignoring them, and newbies don't have the feeling answers should come within the second. Cause sometimes, it does take a few seconds for us to get there, and they're already gone. Understandable if they think we're actially there but chose not to answer questions. All this has already been mentionned and discussed in great hall forums, by the way (helper section). Nothing new here. 2. that mention could include that help will come within a few minutes, or that the persons listed on the right side can be mailed and will answer questions by mail. 3. if that system is in place, posting a message from time to time becomes unecesary. 4. It's the long week-end of 15th of August...that means vacation (in Europe at least). So there might be a drop in activity, does not mean the helpers are doing a crappy job. |
