AP cannot be gained in the forest, however you can find slight statistic boosts if you are an ultra subscriber.

As for maximum energy, it all depends how many levels you have gained since your last energy spring. For example a player who found their last spring at level 1 and is now at level 10 would have a better chance of finding another spring than a player who found their last spring at level 5 and is now level 10.

Elements do not effect this spring count, it is a totally separate counter.
