you say that...  it's not too different from hockey in terms of the speed of the athletes and their reactions, but the tactics are different, you have to wear a lot more padding, as you can see, and your actualy stick skills, especially with a long stick like I've got, require a lot more skill than hockey puck-handling, no offense intended. But it is a lot harder to catch and throw in lacrosse than passing in hockey, and 'cradling' to keep the ball in the net is also a bit of a skill. But anytime, any place, I would be honoured to battle with you on a lacrosse field  |
