| It bothers you and others because getting killed means you lost at something. And if you are extremely competitive then it will bother you, this is coupled with the fact that since you can see the person’s name that did it then it makes it slightly personal because no longer is it some random person killing you such as in a war or a battlefield it is a name and a face who did it, sort of like in a one on one fight. The fact you can then go to the player’s profile and see them and know you can not beat them then creates a feeling of helpless which no one likes. That is my theory anyway. |
