| is a big deal, hence why I don't go round telling noobs to do it - if they spend RL $, they feel obligated to stay with the game because they put $ into it, even if they come to hate the game. I know this feeling because for a while I wanted to quit DW but felt like I shouldn't, because I'd invested RL$ into my char. It's an awful, awful feeling and I would never wish that on anyone, not even a noob, hence why I think you should get them to pursue the camping route until they are absolutely sure they want to spend RL$ on the game, and not encourage them to always run straight to the stone hut. |
