| is that before lots of people had slated huts, the only platinum-to-gold mechanism was the Great Exchange- the subby option. And that offers around 2000 gold per plat. Replace that with something that gives 6000 per plat, and the effective price floor triples. I really don't think hoarding for the rebuild could explain a climb like that, especially seeing as it was still a couple months in the future at that time. However, it could definitely explain the recent increase of 20% for helix prices on the market. |
