The reason I ask is because you did (in my humble opinion) come across as a bit like one of these high-and-mighty salesmen you come across, who in England anyway, tend to dirve M3's/A4's. Or even R8's if they've sold enough kitchen cleaner for the year or whatever. Anway, the point was to find out if I was dealing with one of those wombles, as opposed to a quote unquote 'normal' person who will take on board what you are saying... lol

I do understand that you're talking about economics, my point was based in the semantics of what you said, mainly in the beginning if I'm honest lol, as whilst I read your whole post, I have to admit it started to become a bit of a struggle

Anyhoo, my point is, you make a fair point about how people might use the plat market to feed their SH and thus the market has now come to match SH income but I think SAJASE has a viable point in that the whole point of the SH is that it's a profitable investment, and thusly should be raised in some manner.

Maybe I just read your post wrong, or maybe SAJASE caught that vibe as well, I don't know.
Anyway, I do agree with you that it might be purposeful to change the way the SH works in order to actually make it profitable. Or, failing that, people who use the market to feed their SH could just do what I do and trawl the DF lol
