Subject: Are the skills at Devious Ridge stronger than the skills at

I'm planning on learning 'slow mind' at devious ridge, which will cost me 30 sapphires, which took a lifetime to make. So is this skill worth the sapphires? Is it as strong as the skills at chamber of wisdom? I'm asking particularly about 'slow mind'.
