Subject: A couple of poems | |||||
| by kind permission of Asmadel. 1: As you left a tear rolled down my cheek you wiped it away and held my hand while planting a kiss as you said goodbye I thought of you always longing to see your face to feel the warmth of your hands around me but little did you know that when you left you would never return fall to your enemies you did as i heard the distant cries of war pain fear and sorrow all swept through my heart i would never hear your voice again never see your face you may be forever gone but you still are forever mine. 2: You come and go but never stay. you soar and fly free, but will you return to me? day and night, second after second, i thought of you of everything we've been through memories that now torment and haunt my heart. now slowly, painfully its being torn apart together forever you promised as i begged it to be but you only lied to me i shed tears as we departed hoping wishing with all my being that you would stay longing with all the pieces of my broken heart for the feel of your warm embrace if for only one day but i have now learned you are no longer mine to hold as you forever fly free. I think these are both beautiful poems, & I hope she shares more with us. Well done Azzy!  |
