Camping doesn't make you strong. Buying packages from the stone hut does (a bit like some guy who has 300 Hp on the last door of the elite palace with sword lunge). All camping does is keep everyone all nice and close together so the element eating killers can chew you up every revive (a bit like the place they put the cows while they're waiting waiting for their turn at the slaughterhouse).
