| She was refreshed and well rested as she listened to the captain and watched everything going on around her with interest. "So she knew all along? But she still just told me I was found on the stoop, she did not tell me anything else about the queen or anything." She seemed a bit shaken up now at the thought that the woman who raised her knew all along who she was and who her family was. The mount sensed the girl's distress and tensed up causing the girl to softly coo and speak to the animal in a soothing voice. As the mount calmed she looked up to see the scout racing back toward them and she quickly reined the mount where she had control and could keep it from spooking and darting with her in the saddle as she listened to the scout and captain speak. |
