| Nikki looked a bit uncomfortable hearing his question but thought what the heck... "I am not really sure where I come from but I do know where I was raised..." She pointed back toward the south. "There is a small ridge to the south that the people who raised me lived. It was a small village and I doubt anyone outside the village knows where it is or how to get there but it is called Kal'Landa. I was told I was born in a area to the west of the village. I am not sure of the name as the village was distroyed by war." She looked toward the direction they were heading again then to the ground as she continued. She was unsure why she was telling this stranger her story but it has helped a little to heal her pain. "I was finally able to get the old woman that raised me to tell me who I really was and she did not truely know but she told me I was found one night on their stoop. Left bu some trooper or something because she said she saw someone in the shadows of the other houses. I guess it was my true family and they did not want me." She balled her fists as she tried to keep from crying again. |
