| Nikki had heard about the mystic forest but thought it was just a fable to keep young adventurers from roaming to far from the village. She never knew it was real and now she is in it and lucky to still be alive. Looking from the man to the flower and back she nodded and then spoke again but this time her voice was sure and a tinge of anger was present... "I am heading anywhere to start my life over...I have been lied to all my life and cannot take it anymore." As soon as the words came out she wished she had not said them and quickly apologized, saying, "I am sorry, sometimes I say things I should not, but I sometimes get angry thinking about my past." |
