The definition set out in the rules is as follows: Community Failure: Any activity that undermines the game community, presents a general nuisance to the community, or breaks the spirit of any game law is forbidden. There is no set punishment for these actions, and it is up to the discretion of game staff to determine the penalty, dependent on the severity of the infraction. If that is unclear to you, you may see that several of the jailings have specific failures listed as well such as " spamming chat" and "inappropriate name". Generally we are able to rely on common sense to guide people as to what constitutes a nuisance, as well as gentle warnings from the staff. Game staff and administration do their best to excercise good judgement, common sense and fairness in administration of these rules. If you have a question about a specific person's jailing, I suggest that you mail the person who jailed them, They may or may not choose to share all the details. Please understand that there may be a need to protect the privacy of the individual involved or avoid spreading bad ideas. Thanks, Q |
