| Pretty much every pantheon has one or two gods and goddesses of war each and I wouldnt be surprised if there are hundreds of versions of a goddess of war. But the whole convo to that point was about the Greco-Roman Olympian Pantheon of which Athena/Minerva is the major war goddess, although there are others like Enyo/Bellona and Eris/Discordia. Also, Athena is one of the 12 Olympians and part of the the 'ruling class' of the gods while the other goddesses of war are not. |
