Subject: Game tip for info finding | |||||
| Hello fellow players. Here is a handy tip to help you find in-game information quickly via the forums. Search bar From the main Message Boards page you will see the in game search bar at the top. This has a drop down menu to select which forum you wish to search and works very much like a simplified version of standard browser search bars (useing keywords). Quite often you can find any information you are looking for quite efficiently useing this method and is often quicker than trawling through pages and pages of threads or mailing a member of game staff. To use it effectively select where you think the info may lie (Game Help, Game Discussion etc) and keep the keyword simple and relevant. I also find it useful to 'uncheck' the - Titles Only - box...that way it will search all threads. For example: If you were looking for info on Demon Eggs and couldnt immediately see a thread select Game Help uncheck the box, and type Demon Egg in the search bar...voila multiple threads appear relating to demon eggs. |
