 Subject: I have recently
found a map with a drawing more than a couple of times that I am still trying to figure out what it is good for.

My suspicion is that this map replaced helix for non-ultra but I may be wrong. Wish someone non-ultra can confirm that they have caught a monster squid recently.

PS - you will also need to catch a monster squid later on to progress further in Red lobster.
