but it helps for the CBR, where member(s) of a clan could get to another clan to help gain some CBR points, not possible now, at least i dont see any1 willing to do that and have a 1week clanless status....

ANd u are right for the ship sinking - doesnt help here.

Maybe implement something like this?
Keep the 7 day non-clan "penalty" and during that time a player should not be able to sink boat of members of his/her previous clan (clan the latter has been in lastly)
