| the age old question has no correct answer, be it in religion, philosophy or science. Even nothing is something . . . . Aliens do not exist, as the statement exists then it means that aliens exist at least in the context that they are discussed. Scientifically, to say that there is nothing (zero total energy) is simply not possible, the notion that the universe was created by a fluctuation of the quantum vacuum, cannot explain why there is something rather than nothing, for the existence of the quantum vacuum pre-supposes the existence of a background space-time equipped with quantum fields in their vacuum states, and this is clearly far from being nothing. as such the question in itself is false as nothing is not possible. Actual answer is 42 |
