you're leaving out a small little part. Let's say you add someone like this guy to your clan, and he's an active venner but not a super-competitive one. Just enough to pull his weight. His losses get added to your clan's total. That's the heart of it. You do not need to make up for a person's losses if they offset their own losses. If they make a net positive score, they're an asset to the CBR. If he loses 1500 times a month (and that's a high-end estimate), and makes 6000 kills in that same month... that's 10500 extra CBR points. 6000 kills per month is 200 a day- 5 minutes daily in the ven, maybe 10 for a regular subscriber. You're right about how venning eats resources, but you still haven't answered my question. If your clan doesn't buy free healing, then you have a point. If the platinum cost of free healing were determined by number of losses (which it's not) then you would have a point. If there are so few targets at upper levels that it's impossible to pull your own weight without leveling down, then you have a point. But if a loss is nothing more than one more tally on a monthly count, then you have to agree that even a casual player can offset that. |
