I agree with every point you've made in this post.
(See, Oro does more than just bash the people on top. xD)

-This game would definitely not have advanced quite as far without spenders. (Although it seems much of the developers' time has gone into making new flavors of the game- space flavor, jungle flavor, rockstar flavor, even toast flavor. Yum.)

-Money does not tend to be the determining factor in CBRs. The only way a lack of money can break you is if your members all level up to where the prey is scarce, because you'd be competing against each other for a smaller number of kills.

-Strategy is a very big part of it. There are nuances of the ven that allow organized forces to get an advantage over disorganized forces... just as in every other game. In beta (CBR was very similar to what it is now, 2 for a win and -1 for a loss), my clan had to deal with a rival upstart clan that used clan names (or the ven's labeling thereof) to try to get an edge. We changed our strategy, and kept winning.

-Teamwork is the most important part. Without a doubt, FARMERS has the best ven team there is. There's not much you can do alone; coordination is required in so many fields. The CBR is no exception. By planning or dividing or focusing on targets, you don't just get better use of your time - when you start combining efforts, it becomes easier and easier to get larger and larger leads on everyone else.

These are your points and my agreements to them.
Your mind is sharp.

One more thing about teamwork, though. I want to get back to the original topic, which was about one person looking for a competitive clan, saying that he can pull his weight. The only problem is that if a person doesn't fit in, they bring down the team. You can still win a CBR by agglomerating dozens of people who can each pull their own weight and a little more, but you need that team spirit.

I don't think there's a lot we disagree on.
